Recently we've all seen the leaks in the News about the scope of Mass Survielance destroying the internet, the companies responcible are Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook... These are companies that turn there revenue by selling user profiles to marketing companies. When the leaks first started to emerge, they where quick to deny any involvement but then when it became apparent they where lying about it, they then took the stance of wanting to complain about it.
Believe me guy's these guys dont want to really complain not when they're getting all your Bulk email, SMS, MMS and everything else you have to sell to the highest bidder!

A little history, years ago in a galaxy far far away... Netscape was born, microsoft quickly sued netscape over there browser technology claiming they where infringing on Microsoft Patents.. Netscape counter sued Microsoft claiming the Web Giant was trying to monopolise on locking everybody into there Browser.
Years later and Netscape has become Firefox but what about Netscapes original claim that the Software tech giant was trying to Lock people into using Internet Explorer?
Well if you've got a Windows 7 desktop you tell me can you simply remove Internet Explorer?
No you cant and it doesnt have anti-Web or anti-advertising technology built in, so there still doing what they're in the buisness of doing, stealing and selling your personal information for profits.
Google is exactly the same, there Android OS is tainted with third party applications that allow the application developer full access to your device via something called PMEM - Instead of exiting applications cleanly, the android security model keep's those applications in Memory where they can potentially be doing anything that they want...

So now your left asking yourself, "What can I do to stop these guys ruining my Software?" the answer to that is blowing in the wind. When you exploit a Windows Box you are exploiting the Shell Handler.. The Shell being in this Case EXPLORER.EXE
The framework for the browser is attached to a cryptographic programming interface or Crypto_API designed to give the bad people and the Government access to all your private stuff.
So if your looking for the fix and you just happen to have an old copy of Windows XP here it is: GET EXPLORER.EXE off your PC, Replace the Shell, delete all those Cryptographic Certificates signed by third parties, you've never even heard from.
It'll certainly never be a PC that you can connect to the internet but it will certainly make a nice distributable workstation once you patch all the Rubbish that came pre-included with it!
If you want to try out Android then there's good news, you can download it for the PC.. Yes, thats right not content with infecting every single mobile phone with there rootkit they're now aiming it at desktop workstations. This is good for two reasons, you can now hack the Android Framework with tool's designed to secure it and make it more private, XPrivacy, AF-Firewall, DroidWall and you can use it to host Debian in a Chroot shell locally whilst denying access to any and all application sources from Google whilst running it in a Virtual Shell like QEMU or VM leaving there advertising partners nothing but hell should they want to read your stuff.
It's a big bad world out there and hacking and hackers lost a lot of there integrity when they started selling Exploits for profits!
You can of course if your running linux try and harden your shell, there are various ways to do this:
grSecurity
SELinux
Kerberos
But the hardening of the underlying Shell does sweet FA! If your software is all tainted with Bugs!
Hardened the Kernel, good, now how about Harden or Remove JAVA.. Hardened the Shell but Left ActiveX TROLOLOLOLOL!

All this has done by being brought forwards into the publics attention by the whistleblower Edward Snowden is show the entire world, that these corperations really are evil and that the people you actually would expect to be going around securing systems and protecting the american people, like the NSA are in fact busy training there army to do totally the opposite and penetrate systems everywhere they find them, just like the rest of these evil companies selling you there software, when instead they should be busy thinking about trying to fix and patch there own leaky security model.

The internet used to be a really cool place, hackers used to come here.. Now not so much, because nowadays it's just a place that breed's dick-heads that all want to make money!
An what's really going to stick it to them is when people drop there hosting pulling there systems right off ICANN sticking them on closed networks with there own signed Security Certificates behind an OpenBSD server all backed onto Plan 9 distributed everywhere with windows talking to a server that they can not bypass or break into!
Catchy new name ICANN replaced with ICANT. (would love to see the look on there face!) "we dont understand this, there's some kind of wierd shell interface going on here, it's backed onto something we dont understand, yes we tried LSPCI it didnt work.." hacker hint: try PCI on its own!
It's been long overdue for someone to come along and put these idiots in there place and I like so many other hackers are glad that Snowden had the Guts to do it!
